Problem: The ideal store could not be found and the budget could not support using a helicopter camera platform. Solution: We created and shot multiple matte paintings of clouds and a miniature of a Kroger Supermarket and its environs.This cost much less than a helicopter shot while providing more control. The miniature elements were shot onto 35 mm motion picture film using our motion control system.
